Isaiah the prophet records god as saying that my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways declares the lord isaiah 558.
Let him return to the lord that he may have compassion and to our god for he will freely pardon.
He knows the whys while we grasp for wisdom.
He is infinite we are finite.

Isaiah 5589 nkjv we have all heard the saying god works in mysterious ways in fact i would imagine many of you believe that is actually a verse in the bible.

My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways to know what god is thinking or to know how god works is impossible for us to understand.

For me at the heart of this passage from isaiah 55 are the words.

There are going to be times when god does something in your life and you question his motives.
Invitation to the needy 7 let the wicked man forsake his own way and the unrighteous man his own thoughts.
There will be times when you make plans to do something and god instructs you to ditch your plans and follow him.
